What to expect
This 5 Day F-Gas Course provides comprehensive training and assessment for engineers to legally install, service and maintain stationary refrigeration, air conditioning, and heat pump equipment.
Who is this training course for?
This 5 Day F-Gas Course is for heating engineers and plumbers who would like to upskill and become F Gas qualified.
What will I learn?
- Identify basic systems, terms, principles, units and how these relate to theory and thermodynamics of vapour compression and refigerants
- Identify the causes and ewffects of global warming and climate change
- Identify causes and effects of ozone depletion
- Identify the hazards and safe working practices for the installation, commissioning and handling of refigerants
Practical:
- Fabricate and examine pipework
- Undertake pressure testing, evacuation and record completion
- Undertake refrigerant charging, leak checking and record keeping
- Undertake recovery of refrigerant and oil and prepare for disposal
